WELCOME!

Bienvenidos a la Mision Chile Santiago Norte! We love the Savior, and are blessed to be part of this great work, to share His gospel, and invite others to come unto Him. We are grateful to have this incredible opportunity to associate with such fine young men and women and other couples who are serving in this wonderful part of the vineyard. We decided to share this mission through a blog, with any who would like to know more.... All of the lessons, talks, training, conferences, and meetings are obviously done totally in Spanish, but for the sake of this writer, the notes are here in English, for speed in typing, and therefore, mixed with a bit of both worlds. We hope all of our missionaries, families, and loved ones can enjoy this blog, in spite of the writing, grammar, language, errors, etc. This will be a miraculous journey, and we invite you to share and enjoy it with us.

Lovingly, con cariño,
Presidente Michael May

Elder May honorably finishes his 2 yr mission in Concepcion, Chile!

Wow, two years have come and gone so quickly! We can't believe that Elder May has now completed his 2 years in the Mision Chile Concepcion! It has been interesting serving, 'just down the street' practically, as we were at times only about 2 yrs away from each other, living in Santiago.-----------------
We were thrilled to pick him up with 7 other missionaries from the Concepcion mission who we accompanied to a session at the Santiago Temple. They then all returned to our mission home for the pre-planned Mexican food luncheon they were all requesting! Then after a simple game of 'touch football' with no injuries in the backyard, we sent the rest of these fine missionaries off to the airport to fly back to the USA to meet their parents, families and loved-ones. They are great souls!

  1. Congratulations on having your son home safely and with honor. We will also have our son (Elder Baum) home soon too and he is our fourth missionary son out as well. Aren't we both blessed? I find that I just stare and smile at my boys when they return home. Can't get enough of them for a few weeks!
